RACHELLE CAMPILLO (vocals) Rachelle was born a San Francisco bay area native and raised in the Santa Cruz Mountains. This is where she got her start, at the age of 3 singing on the back deck of her family’s home. At age 5 she added dance along side her singing abilities and by age 11 Rachelle began her voyage into musical theater, where she is currently the assistant director and performer in the musical theater production of “The Street”. Rachelle was influenced by female blues greats such as Billy Holliday, Etta James, Ruth Brown and Lavern Baker. And it was this path that brought her into view of Greg Henderson and Blues Band Hipshake. Rachelle’s natural vocal ability, charisma, style and sheer class bring to the Hipshake stage a perfect combination of elements that make for unique live experience.
